To Travel is a Blessing... | Black, White + Red All Over
With only a few days left in 2014, I'm back in NYC + this time I'm staying awhile. We actually took our luggage to storage last night. Usually, only my love's bag goes into storage, as I have spent the last 7+ years traveling anywhere from once a month to 2-3 times a week. Now after the last month of traveling for pleasure throughout Italy, Puerto Rico + Northern California, I'm sticking around New York for a while + I couldn't be more excited.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE to travel + last night taking my luggage to storage was a little sad, but the New Year is fast approaching. Along with ringing in 2015, I have a new career I will be starting, which doesn't include travel, but does include a whole lot of drive + creativity... both two things I love!
This year, I got to travel to some pretty amazing places... 31 cities + 5 countries to be exact, including my first time to the Bahamas + Italy. While my list for 2015 with undoubtedly be smaller, I'm looking forward to continuing to travel (in a smaller way) + make memories with my love, hoping for one or two big trips with a lot of weekend getaways mixed in.
Most importantly, I can't wait to spend a little more time in my city with this little guy + my big guy too!
Traveling as a part of your job is amazing, but it's not something you can sustain forever, at least it wasn't for me. I've lived in NYC for 8+ years now + there is still so much I want to do + see... hopefully spending a little more time here will help me do that.
Although, if you're a brand/company reading this + you want to send me somewhere, I would happily take you up on that offer + blog all about it.
Traveling is a blessing I have been lucky enough to experience + spending time with the ones you love is also a blessing.
For 2015, I'm looking forward to a healthy balance of both. The first trip I can't wait for is Puerto Rico in May 2015. My love + I gifted a trip to my Mom, brother + sister for Christmas + I can't wait for our first ever family vacation.
By the way, how cute is Frankie in his little bow tie? When we picked him up after his 10 day stay at the Pet Spa, he was wearing this new little accessory + well, since we coordinated so well, I had to include him.
Wish you a balanced life in 2015. xxo
