Four years ago today, this guy proposed marriage 💍 at the same place where we had our first date 🍣. This picture was taken on HIS wedding day (I was five months pregnant with Jude). I still have to pinch myself because I can’t believe he’s old enough to be married! Time goes by way to fast. ⁣

We’re 8yrs apart and although I moved away when he was only 12yrs old (meaning we’ve lived apart longer than we lived together), I’ve always been there for every one of his milestones (minus his collage graduation, BUT did watch the live stream from Denny’s on our way to the airport and cheered as loud as I could. ⁣

He’s my little brother but I’m the one who looks up to him, literally (he’s 6’2) and figuratively. ⁣

He’s a strong man of God, a Pastor and now an entrepreneur 🤩 (I’d like to think I inspire him on this new journey). My brother James truly is a gift...if you know him, then YOU KNOW! ⁣

When it’s February and practically 60 degrees☀️, you spend the day outside. It’s crazy to think that just a few years ago, I didn’t have this luxury... but here I am, living my best life on a Monday🤗 #createthelifeyouwant ⁣

We hung out on our roof top this morning and then spent the afternoon exploring our new neighbor park🏙🌳🛴 ⁣

I’m not going to lie, LIC (our old neighborhood) has the BEST parks in NYC! But, there is something about our new park that feels so much more “New York”, even though we’re technically in Jersey and I love it! Can’t wait to see what this place looks like in the Spring🌷#paulushook // Are you ready for Spring or enjoying winter?

I love the feeling of a fresh start that moving provides. I love decluttering and discovering things you had forgotten about. I love finding ways to organize a new space. And I love love love, designing/decorate a new space. ⁣

Yesterday we spent the day in the suburbs... on the agenda was to grab a few things to spruce up our bedroom. I was able to grab a few things, which I’ll share soon, but this RUG stole my heart! 💞⁣ ⁣
I wanted to put it in our kitchen, but my husband put a stop to that (with good reason) but then on the drive home, it hit me, this would be PERFECT in our bedroom... now I just have to hope it’s still around, once I’m able to get back out there! I saw at least three, so I have a good feeling about this! ⁣✨

I can’t believe it’s been almost two weeks since we moved! 🚚Most of the time, it feels like we’ve lived in our new apartment forever! While there are things about our old home that I miss, were we are now truly feels like home! I’m pretty sure having professional movers (hello @roadwaymoving) had something to do with how quickly we settled in! 🙌🏽 Are you in the NYC metro area and planning a move soon? It’s been a week since Jude got a twin mattress and officially moved into a big boy bed! 😳 How are we here already... I swear he just started walking! ⁣⁣#jiggyandjuju ⁣⁣ Tomorrow on stories I hope to share all about this Ikea Kura bed, the sheets + mattress we chose (basically #allthethings) and why we got Jayden a new mattress too—I say “hope” because these hooligans run the show and lately they haven’t been letting me accomplish much during the day, but tomorrow I am determined! 💪🏽😅 #mamaonamission
