Something's Brewing... | Special Announcement!!!
If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that my fiancée + I took engagement photos on Wednesday, but what you didn't know is that we've also been keeping a secret...
A secret so exciting, I honestly can't believe we kept it in this long.
I started this post with the intent of sharing our entire shoot... but there was so much goodness to share, that I decided to do it in a two-part series, so you will have to wait a little longer for the rest of our engagement shoot at Sweetleaf LIC (my favorite tea/coffee/cocktail place). But lucky for you, I'm not making you wait for the surprise any longer.
You may or may not have noticed, that I have used the term "Something's Brewing..." a few times in the past couple of weeks... Which was actually a hint into the surprise itself. You all know I LOVE my tea. Okay, maybe I'm a little obsessed. But lately, I have been cutting back on the caffeine quite a bit, because something else extra special has been brewing.
With out further ado....
WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A BABY!!!
A little baby Santiago has been brewing inside of me for the past couple of months now (13 weeks actually) + we couldn't be more excited.
1 + 1 = 3
I always knew 30 was going to be an amazing year for me... but never in my wildest dreams did I think it would start out like this. New job. New apartment. Getting engaged. Getting married + now... having a baby! Crazy yes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Life is one big, exciting adventure, one that we're not in control of but were we get to reap all the benefits. Things rarely turn out how we plan, but I always revel in the fact, that they turn out exactly how God planned. I've got a lot on my plate at the moment (hence the sporadic posting on the blog lately) but I know God will only give me what I can handle.
