A Picnic in the Park // Outfit Post

Saturday afternoon was the perfect day for a picnic, the sun was out, the humidity was low, and there was a zero precent chance of rain. If you live in the North East, you know this combination is hard to come by in the summer, so we jumped at the chance to pack up our late lunch/early dinner and head outside. Picnics call for casual attire... but since this was also a "date", I still had to look cute. I have been dying to wear this silk heart shirt I got at the JCrew outlet a few weeks ago and, with the cooler temps, it was the perfect day to try it out. Paired with cut off denim... my new weekend staple, and tan suede espadrilles, the end result was casual, pulled together, and chic. Oh, and how could I forget, of course I added some sparkle. Sad we forgot to get some close up shots of the necklace, but I promise I will be wearing it again and will include then.
