Nuuly, Clothing Rental Subscription Review + My December Rentals

nuuly clothing rental service.JPG

Nuuly is the newest clothing rental subscription service to hit the market and I’m obsessed! Nuuly is owned but URBN and features their family of brands: Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters and Free People. Since the 70’s the URBN brands mission has been to encourage customers to express themselves through their wardrobes and the spaces they keep… which I fully support. I was first introduced to the brand back in 2003, when I worked for the Anthropologie on Market street in San Francisco and have been in love with the brand ever since. When I first heard about Nuuly from my friend Jackie, I knew I had to join!

I received my first delivery in November and now with two deliveries under my belt, I wanted to share with you my experience.

#4 Alexandria Mini Dress, Steele (retail $269). I’m wearing the xs.

Booties (which I’ve been wearing non stop this season), Target. True to size, although I always size up in boots, because I have a high arch. *I honestly might pick up a new pair, I love them so much.

Nuuly Clothing Rental, December Nuuly Rentals, leopard print coat

#5 Leopard Fleece Bomber Jacket, Apparis (retail $265). I’m wearing the xs. Love this so much, I think I might keep it… should I keep it?

Nuuly Clothing Rental, December Nuuly Rentals, Anthropologie, universal standard dress

#6 Sweatshirt Dress, Universal Standard (retail $130). I’m wearing the 3XS (2-4)

The items that I rented for December, totaled over $1,044 but I was able to rent all of them for only $88 (less actually thanks to a few referrals). With this being my second monthly with Nuuly, I can honestly say, you have to try it! Its so fun getting a few new pieces added to your wardrobe each month for a very affordable price. Read the reviews, in regards to sizing and look at pics of other people wearing them to get a better idea of what size would be best for you. Also, remember that shipping takes 2 days, so scheduled to send back your delivery before the due date. I like to keep mine as long as possible. Also when you are filling your cart, be sure to filter by your size and what’s available, as it makes the whole process a lot easier.

Who is Nuuly perfect for? Anyone really! But especially, expecting moms, new moms, bloggers, women who love to shop, but want to be smarter with their money in the new year, women looking to be more sustainable and women who love trends but don’t want to invest in them.
