Lavender viewing starts June 12th through July 4th (this year extended to the 9th). Raspberries starts June 12th and continue through August, based on weather and crop availability. Check Happy Day Farm website before going. Open Wednesday through Sunday, 8am to 3pm. Last ticket sold at 2:30pm sharp.

Happy Day Farm has been a happy place for us for years, a place we return to again and again. We first learned about this magical place back in 2018, when we still lived in NYC. It was the infamous pumpkin house that first attracted me (more here and here) and was a 2hr drive each way from where we lived at the time, but so worth it. Now, we live only 1hr away and last summer we got to experience the sunflowers for the first time (our first adventure during the pandemic). Next up for us, was the Lavender Fields. We made our way to Happy Day Farm again, on opening weekend and it did not disappoint.

Happy Day Farm has so much to offer. During Lavender season, you can also pick berries (depending on weather and crop availability), there is also fresh squeezed lemonade, yummy shaved ices and snacks, with a large picnic table area and a fun wooden train for smaller kiddos to play on. The animals are always a big hit too. Be sure to check out the chickens and feed the goats and stop by the “Sugar Shack” on your way out.
