Pineapple Yogurt Lemonade Popsicle Shark Week Recipe - casa de fallon

Growing up, Shark Week was always a favorite in our house. While I was terrified of actually being near one, I was okay with watching them on TV and my little sister was (and is still) obsessed with them. Now I have two little boys of my own, who are equally shark obsessed and love learning all they can about these fascinating (yet still terrifying to me) creatures.

Now you know, it’s not a celebration without a delicious treat and if you’ve been around here for a while, then you know we love a good popsicle recipe around here. While I've made many different popsicle combos over the years, this one might be my favorite (at least for now). Double layered and simple to make, plus there’s a fun little surprise inside of each that your kiddos are sure to love.

First thing first, you need this stainless steel popsicle tray. I mean you don’t “need” them, but if you’re in the market for popsicle molds, I can promise you, these are the best. The exact trays I have here are currently out of stock, but I linked to two other practically identical sets in my Amazon Shop, that both have amazing reviews.

What You Need:

  • Popsicle Molds

  • Popsicle Sticks

  • Yogurt…. we love Chobani Complete Vanilla, because it’s high in protein, zero added sugar and taste delicious.

  • Fresh Pineapple Juice (we used Trader Joe’s brand)

  • Lemonade (we used Trader Joe’s Sparkling version – incredible)

  • Shark Gummi Candy

Directions:

Layer 1: Mix 1/2 cup of yogurt with 1/2 can of pineapple juice. Whip together until fully combined. Pour into molds, filling just a little over a 1/3 of the way. Insert sticks and freeze for 2 hrs.

Layer 2: add two shark gummi candies on either side of the stick, top off with sparkling lemonade, add lid and freeze for an additional 2hrs.

Remove and enjoy!

PRO TIP: run the outside of the mold under water for 5 seconds the popsicle will slide out like a dream.
