Planning An Epic Picnic With Target Sun Squad

School is out and summer is finally here! After the past year+ we just had, I don’t know about you, but I’m planning to do the most this summer and that includes when it comes to picnics.
We are a family that likes to adventure and sometimes those adventures are as simple as checking out a new park (or even our own backyard) and I’m a mama who loves a good theme. I’m currently planning lots of picnics this summer and the Summer Sun Squad collection from Target is making the whole planning process a breeze. what you need for an epic picnic:
Food-
Plan the meal ahead of time
Make sure you have plates, cups, napkins, cutlery
Ice is always a good addition. Pro tip: Fill insulated water bottle with ice or pre mixed drinks
Trays for snacking
Containers to hold all your food
Set up-
Blanket to sit on
Pillows, chairs and an umbrella
Cooler backpack and duffles to carry everything
Entertainment-
After your bellies are full, make sure you have some fun activities planned. My family really enjoyed playing a game of go-fish with these themed oversized playing cards. The bubbles were a huge hit, throughout the entire picnic. And the giant wood jenga set stole the show at the end.

And what’s a good theme with out coordinating family outfits?!? Doing too much? Nah. It’s 2021 and we survived… doing the most is a requirement!
