The World is a Book... Read Often

The above quote has been a favorite of mine for a while now.  I came across it years ago, in a book I was reading at the time about travel, back before I had even made it out of the country.  Since then I have been to the all through our America, the Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Bahamas, Nicaragua, France, England and Puerto Rico, with my list growing daily.  Each trip has allowed me to complete another page in my own life story.  Travel is a funny thing... "it's the only thing you can buy that makes you richer" (-via unknown author).  Travel really is that one thing I never feel guilty about spending money on and it's the only thing I look forward again and again.  The more your explore, the stronger the desire to explore even more.  At least that's how it works for me.

Currently, my love and I are spending the long weekend in Playa Del Carmen, celebrating my blogger BFF's wedding.  Sun, sand and the Caribbean Sea- the simple life and absolute perfection. We're getting ready to head out and explore the area, thinking of heading down to Tulum for the day.  Really, we have no set plan... just me + him, a jeep, and a day of exploring, which is just the way I like it.  I'm so lucky to have a partner in life that loves to explore as much as I do.
