Madewell + Skinny Jeans | The Perfect Travel Outfit (Winter)

I recently started selling items from my closet on Poshmark.  When joining Poshmark, my main intention was to sell, sell, sell! I have A LOT of clothes/accessories + I really need to downsize.  But every now and then, I've taken a peek through some of the other gorgeous closets + have wanted a thing or two.This "Bon Voyage" sweater from Madewell, has been on my list for a while.  I mean, it's a black cozy sweater focused around travel - what's not to love?!  Now, when I came across it posted on Poshmark, I knew I had to have it.  It told myself it was a reward for making my first round of sales. So far, I've sold 16 items + only bought one... that's pretty dang good, if you ask me!

Now that I (finally) have this sweater, this will be my go-to winter travel look.  Skinny Jeans with stretch, a cozy sweater (with a t-shirt under in the off-chance that the plane is warm), comfortable booties (easy to slip off) and my FAVORITE extra-large tote.

Now, let's talk about skinny jeans for a minute... unless you're super tall, with model thin legs, your skinny jeans probably don't fit perfectly right off the rack, unless of course you buy cropped, which is also a good tip).

Refinery29 shares a great technique on how to fold your jeans, the right way.  Most of us, probably do the old fold under technique, but this way is a great option for your darker/black denim that will look like they were made to fit that way.  Fold over + scrunch at your knee, until you pants hit you at the desired length - you'll have a new cool look + still keep you hem visible.
