Summer Trends + New Shoes With DSW

When it comes to incorporating summer trends into my wardrobe, one of the first pieces I like to update, is my shoes. For one, I’m pretty bad on my shoes, so each season, I like to get at least 2-3 new pairs that I can add to the rotation, while cycling a few out as well.
Those of you who are avid followers know I’m a sucker for a great pair of luggage/cognac colored shoes, no matter what the season. When DSW reached out to me + offered me my pick from their selection of new summer styles, these sandals, from Steve Madden, were a no brainer. My favorite color for shoes, with gold hardware details… it was love at first sight.
What I love most about luggage/cognac colored shoes, is that they’re so easy to mix+match with various trends, while still feeling classic at the same time. I mean look how well they pair with my favorite floral dress + then below with the “of-the-moment” off the shoulder top.
Even though this mama is 7.5 months pregnant, keeping up with the trends is a must! Plus, they act as a nude for my year-round tan color skin.
Two of the hottest trends this season are bright floral summer dresses + off the shoulder tops. These new sandals from DSW work so well with both + I know they will work with other items in my closet as well.
