Denim Overall Dress + Off The Shoulder Top | Maternity Style

Our first heat wave of the season is underway + let me just tell you, being pregnant brings a whole new meaning to a heat wave! For one, I don't think I will ever get used to the humidity that occurs on the east coast, no matter how long I live here (going on 9 years), give me dry heat any day.  Then you add the fact that I'm almost 8 months pregnant + let's just say, I have been spending most of my days in doors, with the air condition blasting, chopping on ice cubes + frozen grapes.

This weekend, we ventured to New Jersey to spend some time with family + I knew that I wanted to be casual + comfortable.  What I also have learned over the past couple of months is that a little effort, can go a long way while pregnant.  What I mean by that, is putting a little effort into what you wear + how you look will help boost your mood, at a time when I know you'd rather be laying on the couch in your PJ's.

Playing with two trends for the season, overalls + off the shoulder, was exactly what I was looking for, when dressing for a casual weekend.  I'm pretty obsessed with this denim overall dress, which I've been wearing since being five months pregnant + off the should tops are so on trend especially when paired together.
