Pregnancy Update | PinkBlush Maternity

Heat waves + humidity can only mean one thing... this mama-to-be is retaining water like nobodys business + in result, I spend most days barefoot or in wedges, I mean Birkenstocks. Let's be honest, I'm only wearing these wedges for the photos!  Being nine months pregnant in the dead heat of an east coast summer is awful.  Thankfully, I only have a few weeks left. I know it's hard to tell in these pics, but my feet + ankles (+ hands)  are so swollen, they're unrecognizable.  But, with all that said,  I know it's worth it!

This past Monday was my husband's birthday + we celebrated with a "date night" to see "The Book of Mormon" on Broadway–highly recommend btw! We also got to hear our babies heart beat at the doctors, which my husband said was the only birthday present he needed.  We are so excited to meet this little one that has been growing inside of me.  With just a few weeks left, we're almost ready (or at least as ready as we'll ever be).  Were putting the finishing touches on the nursery + I'm hoping to pack my hospital bag this week.  We hit 37 weeks yesterday + the doctor says he could come at any time now.  We have a wedding to attend next Saturday, so I just hope he doesn't choose that as the day to arrive, but other than that, we're ready!
