Farewell, Sage + Sparkle
It's been 3 1/2 years since I started Sage + Sparkle... At the time, Sage + Sparkle was created as a lifestyle blog, focused on the five ways to make your life sparkle (Style, Taste, Explore, Create, Detox). While all of these areas are still a part of my life, my life in general has changed dramatically in the past year and a half. For starters, I quite my job, embarked on a new adventure as a stylist, got engaged, got pregnant, planned a wedding and got married (all within three months) while pregnant, had a baby. Fast forward to now, I'm a stay at home mom with a 1yr old toddler, who is expecting her second child. To say that my life took a 180 is an understatement, a 360, landing in a new destination is more like it.
Sage + Sparkle brought so much joy to my life since it began, but for the last year+, I haven't been inspired by the brand and honestly just didn't feel like it truly represented me and where my life is today. So about six months ago, I embarked on the journey of rebranding. The content of my blog will stay the same with with a continued focus on motherhood and of course style, but now in a way that feels more authentic. I wanted to create a brand that embodied more where my life is today and truly fit my life. And that's where my new brand was born....
Introducing...
For starters, I had a professional create my logo this time around and man was it worth it! I worked with Kristin Young, who did an excellent job interrupting my vision and bringing it to life. Kristin and I have actually be friends since around 5th grade, so you could say we hit it off from the start. Kristin is extremely creative and equally talented and bonus points, I knew her personally, which made the whole process super easy. For my website, I worked off a template and tweaked everything myself, which means there has been a lot of sleepless nights over the past couple of weeks, all of which had nothing to do with baby #1 or being pregnant... thank God for the second trimester, which brought most of my energy back.
I still have quite a bit of work to do, as far as updating all of my past post (which I will continue to do over the next couple of weeks), so please bear with me along the way. I just couldn't wait any longer to get back up and running and wanted to launch my rebranding, before the new year. I have had the opportunity to create amazing campaigns with top brands and partake in countless collaborations with Sage + Sparkle, over the last couple of years and I can't wait to do the same and more with Casa de Fallon. Thank you so much for ALL of your SUPPORT, many of you have been here since the beginning, some of your are new friends – all of you hold a special place in my heart. I'm truly excited for what this rebranding will bring. I hope you will continue to come along for the ride!
