Prior to having kids, I used to be the kind of girl who bought basically every piece of costume jewelry that was laid in front of me. I had boxes and boxes of big and bold costume jewelry in every color imaginable (although gold has always been my favorite). After having my first son, I basically stopped wearing jewelry all together. Long gone were the days of long dangly necklaces, chunky bracelets and big earrings–they just didn’t work with my life as a stay at home mom with a newborn, breastfeeding around the clock.

Fast forward to now… I’m back to working a lot more but from home, still with my kids (I have two toddlers, age 3yr and 2yr) and I’m also back to loving jewelry again. However, it’s different this time. My style has changed and while I still love a good costume jewelry piece, I am far more selective. I also have developed a love for more quality pieces that mean something to me, like my wedding ring, band with the two additional bands I wear, each representing one of my kids. I now love dainty necklace and most days you will find me wearing one that says “mama” and a “mama” gold ring with diamond, both of which I received from Hey Mama. Big earrings are back in the mix now too, but I’d like to think I put a lot more though into how often I will wear them and if they truly fit my style, before purchasing now.

About a month ago, Everjewel reached out to me to try out their new consignment jewelry services. You can use Everjewel to both buy and sell quality jewelry pieces, risk free, with a 19 point Eversafe guarantee. Once you purchase an item from Everjewel, it is then shipped to their experts to ensure the quality of the item you are purchasing and then shipped to you. Sounds like a long process, but I promise it’s not. I receive my order super fast.

They have a wide rang of items available on their site, at a great price point. Knowing that I wanted something with meaning, I stopped in my takes with I saw this simple rose gold “J” ring. A little back story, my husband is Joe, and my two sons are Jayden and Jude and if that wasn't enough, my brother is also a J too.. so it’s safe to assume, the letter “J” is pretty special to me.

Now, since it’s consignment, you can’t choose sizes or anything, the ring I ended up with is actually a 1/2 size too big for me, but layers perfectly with my “mama” ring and I have since moved it down below my other ring, so I never have to worry about it slipping off. It really was meant to be.
