It’s time to wake up and SLAY mamas! ☀️Happy Monday morning and first day of Summer around here (pass the coffee please😴 ☕️)! Daddy has actually already left for work, but this is a mostly accurate representation of how we, and by we I mean he, wakes up in the morning these days... ⁣

The kids run in around 6am and pull daddy out of bed, while mama sleeps for another hour. I’ve been slacking on my early morning wake ups the last couple of months, but have been thoroughly enjoying that extra two hours of sleep. 🙌🏽 ⁣

Later today, we’re headed on a little road trip, to kick off #CDFSummer2019 🚘☀️ The boys have no idea where we’re going, but they know we have a surprise for them! Can’t say to see their faces when we arrive🤗 ⁣

I still can’t believe Jayden’s first school experience has come to an end. When we moved to Jersey City, we got lucky and he was able to jump right into a PK3 class. He went from spending his days with mommy + Juju to jumping on a bus and spending his days with three teachers and 12 other classmates and he THRIVED! Jayden is smart, kind, eager and curious... I couldn’t be more proud of him! 💞⁣⁣

What's on your "summer bucket list"? Quick, we need ideas...summer starts in T-4 days for the Santiago's 😅

Admittedly I didn't know much Holi up until about a week ago, outside of the fact that it's celebrated with bright beautiful colors. And while I still know very little, what I learned about it from my friend @lovelaughmirch, is that it's a beautiful Hindu festival, celebrating the start of spring (it's just celebrated later here in the North East). ⁣

I love that we live in a city that allows for us to experience so many different cultures and take part in celebrations we may have never been exposed to otherwise. I hope one day my boys realize how truly lucky they are. ✨⁣⁣

We took them both to the #HoliFestival in Hoboken today. We had planned to go for the past couple of weeks now, none of us had plain white shirts though, so we stopped at Target on the way, picked some up (before #targetdown), then never used them🤷🏽‍♀️ ⁣

When we got to Hoboken the boys were a disaster, so we decided to scratch the festival and headed to brunch instead. Food fixes everything, right?! 🙌🏽⁣

The start of brunch was rocky, but ended on a positive note with a little bootie shaking to the @jonasbrothers after the boys finished their Bamicinos 🥛(steamed milk topped with cocoa dusting) @bluestonelane. ⁣

On the way back to the car, we realized we still had a little over an hour on the meter, so we decided to go back to the original plan and check out the festival. ⁣#suratiholihai

So so glad we did! The boys and I had a BLAST covering each other in colors (while Daddy documented). ⁣
⁣
Today was a GREAT day!
