Weekend Vibes in Gingham | Williamsburg, Brooklyn
We've been spending a lot of time in Brooklyn lately–no complaints here. Between baby swim lessons, developmental baby yoga classes, bring your baby movie dates + spontaneous oyster/rosé mommy happy hours, Brooklyn finds its way onto my calendar multiply times throughout the week. On occasion, we also like to venture into Brooklyn for brunch too.
A few weeks ago, before we left on our three-week adventure out west, we spent the most beautiful Saturday in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Seriously, the temps hit 80 + with no humidity... I couldn't have planned it better if I tried. It also happened to be the first day of Smorgasburg, with basically is Brooklyn's way of saying "Hello, Summer! We've been waiting for you..."
On our weekend adventure, we came across this amazing wall by Colossal Media + I knew instantly that we had to stop + take photos in front of it. I planned on changing into my silver sandals for all of these photos, but after taking a few test photos in my Nike's, I actually ended up liking the overall look better that way.
All my city girls will understand when I say, when wearing heels ALL day, having a pair of shoes to switch into is a must, usually you're comfortable shoes are just that, for comfort, but in this case, I think they actually added the perfect weekend vibe to my look.
