Trashy Diva, New Orleans | Mix + Match
When I was in New Orleans a few weeks ago, I feel in love with a local boutique, Trashy Diva! I first discovered the boutique when we were walking to breakfast our last day in the city but was sad to see that they didn't open till noon. Luckily I was able to talk my boyfriend into walking back after we ate so I could check out the merchandise.
HOLY COW, was I in love!
From the minute I walked in, there was piece after piece that caught my eye. I have always been a lover of vintage silhouettes, particularly from the late 40's, early 50's era - the silhouettes just fit my body so well! It seriously was hard to narrow in on what items I wanted to purchase, but eventually I decided on four pieces - the gathered mini skirt in two colors, the trixie top, and the Louise blouse - with the thought process being that I could not only mix and match these four pieces and make multiple different outfits but I could also mix and match with other pieces in my wardrobe and even wear them into the Fall season. Win, win for all! I felt justified in my decision and Trashy Diva made a great sale on a rather dreary day (insert flash flood here).
I apologize in advance for the photo overload today, but there's just so many ways I could wear these six pieces, that I had to share them with you. The possibilities are truly endless... I haven't even began to mix with other items in my closet - saving that project for another rainy day! ;)
Be sure to check out the Trashy Diva website, as they have some amazing pieces! Plus, they're also running a promotion at the moment on sale merchandise. Use the code SALEONSALEJULY to get an additional 50% off sale merchandise.
