Tangy Citrus Green Juice Recipe
I think by now, you know that my juicer is one of my favorite kitchen tools. In my opinion, a good juicer is a must in the kitchen! I have been happy with this juicer for the past couple of years and have no complaints. On the weekends I like to experiment and come up with new juice recipes, stepping away from my traditional green juice, which is a weekday staple for me. This weekends results... a colorful, tangy, treat, combining six ingredients, half veggies, half fruit, which together were amazing!

TANGY CITRUS GREEN JUICE
- 4 cups of spinach
- 3 carrots
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 green apple
- 1 blood orange (remove peel)
- 1 lemon (remove peel)
Wash all ingredients and combine in juicer. I like to start with the blood orange, because it's pretty (it's the little things), then add the lemon, apple, spinach, cucumber, and finish off with the carrots. While it's not super important how you combine the ingredients, you do want to make sure that you use something that with a high water content, like a cucumber, directly following the spinach, since spinach is a little tougher to juice.
Once the juice is complete, I usually let it sit for a few minutes, as I clean up, but before drinking you want to make sure you stir. WARNING: The beautiful juice you see above will not look so beautiful once your stir (see below)... that's just want happens when you mix greens hues with pink hues, but I promise you, it taste amazing!
Anything combination you want me to try out for you?
