PB & J Smoothie Recipe

Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie Recipe with Powered Peanut Butter - Sage and Sparkle

Yay, we made it to the weekend!  Start your weekend off on the right foot, with this PB&J Smoothie! It has berries, peanut butter and banana... need I say more?  This recipes (at the end of the post) is delicious!

On another note, any one else as excited as I, that today is Good Friday?  I'm flying back from NOLA tonight and totally looking forward to enjoying a nice spring Easter weekend.  We originally planned to go to DC, but I think we are going to stay local for a low-key, relaxing weekend, before I head off to Vegas and LA next week for work.

How about you? Any fun plans for Easter?

Ingredients:

  • 1 handful, frozen strawberries
  • 1 handful, frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon powered peanut butter
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 almond milk

Directions:

  • Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor like the Ninja.  Blend for 30-60 seconds or until well blended.  TIP:  Use frozen fruit, as I suggest above, to keep make your drink nice and cold.  If you prefer fresh fruit, just add a few ice cubes.  I also like to use powered peanut butter, for my smoothies, but regular peanut butter is a nice treat once in a while.
