Mother's Day Brunch / Baby Reveal... Oceano, Puerto Rico

Last Sunday, Mother's Day + the day after our wedding, we hosted a Mother's Day Brunch / Baby Reveal at Oceano's in the Condado area of Puerto Rico. My husband (eek!... first time writing that word) + I found out weeks before but we kept it a secret from our family + friends until then. It was kind fun to have this big secret between just the two of us. Everyone of course had their predictions, which I loved hearing. If I wrote down what everyone thought it was pretty close to 50/50 but leaning towards a boy. However, those that thought it was a girl, thought so with conviction.

Our brunch was perfect. There was a halo in the sky around the sun that day. Joe + I like to think of it as a sign of the angles above looking down and shinning blessings on our unborn child. I personal think it was my Great Grandma (my Guardian angel) making sure she didn't miss out on the big reveal. Either way, it was a perfect way to end our wedding weekend. Nothing too fancy, after planning a wedding I had no energy left. Just good food, an amazing venue on the beach, balloons, cupcakes, family + friends... I mean is anything else really needed?
