Men's Fashion | Trunk Club Review
First off, I must preface this conversation by letting you know that my love, Joe, is not at all into fashion. He would be happy with an old ratty pair of jeans and zip up wind breaker (I love you, babe). So when I came home from work one day and he told me that he had signed up for Trunk Club, I was baffled, yet intrigued. How in the world did a fashion service for men, get my boyfriend to sign up for their services?
Once he explained the whole process to me, I was probably more excited than him, for the package that was set to arrive. That's when it hit me... Of course Joe wants to look good, but like most men, he doesn't want to waste his time shopping and putting outfits together. Here I always thought it was that he didn't want to spend the money, which is
partially mostly true, but I quickly found out that if the product came to our door, and he liked it, and he didn't have to think about it, he was more inclined to spend the money.
With men, it's all about convenience!
After an initial consultation, over the phone with your assigned stylist (Lisa in this case), your trunk arrives within 3 days, filled with clothes hand-selected to fit your style needs, either for a weekend trip or to spruce up your summer wardrobe. In Joe's case, he was looking for casual pieces he could wear outside of work, on the weekends, with a focus on a good pair of jeans.
When the package arrived, it came with a note "hand-selected for Joe Santiago" and inside, it detailed out each item that was included, the price, and style tips on how to wear them (such a nice touch). So far, we have paid nothing.
From there you have 10 days to decide what you want to keep and what you want to send back. What you decide to send back, you simply place back in the "trunk", slap on the pre-paid return label and either schedule a pick up or drop it off and you all set. Once they receive your package, you will be charged for the items you decided to keep. Simply, right?
In the end, Joe walked away with two pairs of designer jeans, two button downs, one t-shirt, one button up hoodie, one pair of shoes and three pairs of socks, all for a man who hates spending money on fashion and hates shopping! Trunk Club is magic, ladies! I highly recommend.
This is NOT a sponsored post. I was just so impressed with the concept and service (see hand-written thank you note above) that I had to share with my readers. If your man, is a little on the fence with fashion or just doesn't have the time to shop, then sign them up for Trunk Club. Tell them we sent you!
Ps. Thank you, Lisa!!!
