Get Outside & Get Active // Spring Edition
Can you believe it, the first day of Spring is finally here! The thing I'm most excited about, is that from here on out, that means each day will bring a little more sunlight in the morning... which I welcome with open arms. Getting out of bed the last couple of weeks, when it's still dark outside, has been torture. But it's all downhill from here! Bring on the sun, flowers, and chirping birds and the chance to get out & get active. Something about the first day of Spring, makes me think of this, one of my favorite songs from my childhood. Anyone remember the sign-a-long VHS?
I digress... back to the active wear.
So I forgot to tell you, last Wednesday, I got my boot off... so exciting right! Now I face physical therapy 3 days a week, for the next 6 weeks. Which I'm actually excited about. I haven't been able to do yoga since October and for anyone who knows me personally, you know this has been torture. I was cleared to start Pilates again but not hot yoga yet, due to all the balancing poses, but soon enough I will be back in the game... and I can't wait!
In the mean time, today I'm sharing with you my new favorite active wear that just so happens to incorporate two trends for Spring... perforated fabrics and the pantone color of the year, radiant orchid (last seen here). When working out, it's so important to make sure you feel good doing it, which in result will make you want to workout more. What you wear plays a big part if how you feel. At the start of the season, I always like to get a few new workout pieces to keep me inspired. I have been eyeing the new collection at Anthropologie for a few weeks now... just might have to splurge this weekend.
Please don't judge my Dandayamana Dhanurasana, Standing Bow Pose (above)... Not bad for 5 months off...
