The beauty of traveling for work, is that I have the opportunity to extend my trip for the weekend, which is always nice when California is involved as I get to spend some time with my family.

I got back to New York, late yesterday afternoon, which meant my Sunday was pretty much wasted, but in reality it was all worth it - I got to celebrate my Mom's birthday and be back in LIC before the sun went down, meaning I got a good night of sleep and I'm now ready for the glamour to continue...

It's the tail end of Fashion Week, here in New York and while I missed quite a few great events/shows, I'm looking forward to taking part in a few more festivities.

Between all the models, celebrities, fashion editors, and bloggers, the city is bestowed with glamour at the moment - what's not to love. What I love most about Fashion Week, is that even if you can't attend many shows because you work full-time like myself, or you're not in NYC, you can still experience all the great fashion, by following along on Instagram, or checking out Style.com.
