School is out and summer is finally here! After the past year+ we just had, I don’t know about you, but I’m planning to do the most this summer and that includes when it comes to picnics.

We are a family that likes to adventure and sometimes those adventures are as simple as checking out a new park (or even our own backyard) and I’m a mama who loves a good theme. what you need for an epic picnic:

Food-

1. Plan the meal ahead of time

2. Make sure you have plates, cups, napkins, cutlery

3. Ice is always a good addition. Pro tip: Fill insulated water bottle with ice or pre mixed drinks

4. Trays for snacking

5. Containers to hold all your food

Set up-

1. Blanket to sit on

2. Pillows, chairs and an umbrella

3. Cooler backpack and duffles to carry everything

3. Games

After your bellies are full, make sure you have some fun activities planned. My family really enjoyed playing a game of go-fish with these themed oversized playing cards. The bubbles were a huge hit, throughout the entire picnic. And the giant wood jenga set stole the show at the end.
