Dear Jayden,

My sweet sweet boy, where do I even begin. Four years ago today, you rocked my world and life has never been the same. I thank God everyday for giving you to me as you were exactly what I never knew I needed. You are caring, kind, funny and smart and while I see so much of myself in you, you my dear son are so much more.

I love your energy and spirt and how you love so deeply and freely. You make me strive to be a better person. Watching you grow brings so much joy to my life and even on the days where I am lacking joy (which there have been plenty) you always give me a reason to try harder and do better.

I love the joy on your face when we dance and sing together, but my favorite is seeing the joy on your face when we pray together.

You are brave. You are loving. You are worthy.

Happy birthday my sweet prince. Mama loves you, more than you’ll ever know.

Broccoli is still your FAV, has been since before you were born. You still very much enjoy reading and currently any “5 min stories” or Spider Man chapter books are your favorite. You prefer DC over Mavel Superheroes, except for Spider Man and Black Panther, which are your top two. Green is still your favorite color. You really love brushing your teeth and want to do it after you eat anything. Still love music and still love dancing any chance you get.
